CheVonceil Echols was a Teacher and a Social Worker in the State of Massachusetts for over 25 years until moving to San Antonio five years ago. She is also a performing artist and has written published and performed many of her own original works.
She uses her knowledge of Sign Language to present inspirational praise and dance within the learning environment. CheVonceil has an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development and a Masters in Counselor Education, she is a certified tenure teacher and Licensed Certified Social Worker.
CheVonceil is an ordained minister and has also been involved in Christian work for over 40 years she have received numerous Christian awards.
Terry E. Carter has been writing and developing his craft for decades. He is a classically-trained poet whose literary influences range from Shakespeare to the Harlem Renaissance. His life influences are family, race, education, and a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Terry is a husband, a father, a teacher, a visual artist and a jazz aficionado. These experiences permeate his poems and “poetic stories.” He lives just south of Boston, Massachusetts with his wife Terésa and his teenage daughter Maya. Terry is an Arts Minister and a Deacon at Jubilee Christian Church. He recently published his first volume of poetry, entitled Brown Skin and the Bread of Life: A Poet’s Journey. Terry is a professional communications consultant and hopes to continue on his literary journey for years to come.
