TRG is moving to the
Little Carver Civic Center!!
TRG is thrilled to announce that our shows for 2009 -2010 will be performed at
The Little Carver Civic Center, part of the Carver Community Cultural Center.
Since our inception, it has always been a goal of TRG to introduce and cultivate a deeper appreciation for theatre within the African American community. We will continue to provide educational outreach programs to the San Antonio community and surrounding areas, and providing opportunities for artistic expression to people of color.
The Black experience is shared; as always, TRG’s doors are open to people of all ethnicities who desire to bring our mission to fruition.
Located just east of downtown San Antonio, The Carver Community Cultural Center (the Carver) is an historical center of the community’s African-American culture.
Named in honor of internationally esteemed agricultural chemist George Washington Carver, the Carver embodies this great man’s philosophy and spirit:
“Start where you are, with what you have.
Make something of it. Never be satisfied.”
