Tori Foutz (Ruth) is a native Texan and mother of three beautiful kids. She has had a flare for drama all of her life. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Psychology at Texas A&M San Antonio. This her third production with TRG but hopefully not her last. She is grateful to her family and friends for their love and support.
Mark Anthony Hall (Walter) is a singer and actor originally from San Antonio, Texas.
His professional experiences have taken him to opera houses and theatres from Aachen to Zurich.
His credits include: The Color Purple, “Porgy and Bess”, “The Ebony Game “Ragtime”, “Smokey Joe’s Cafe”, “Jelly’s Last Jam, “Insurrection: Holding History”, “Carmen”, “Once on this island” and “Aida”.
He is a member Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
He thanks God for all opportunities he has enjoyed.
Kerry Yelldell (Travis) though proud to make his Community Theatre debut in A Raisin In The Sun, on numerous occasions he has performed in Easter and Christmas programs at New Creation Christian Fellowship. He is in 7th grade at Harris Middle School and loves football, basketball, and golf. He is very passionate about dancing and music. Since he was five yrs old he has been planning on attending USC. He wishes to thank his devoted Mother, Contessa, and all of his family, friends, and church members for their love and support!
Dan Walker, III (Joseph Asagai) has performed on stage with various acting troupes, having appeared in Our Town, Into the Woods, West Side Story, The Hobbit; and Porgy & Bess. His most recent role was that of “Elder” in Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity. He would like to extend great thanks to God and to the director of A Raisin in the Sun, as well as his supportive family and friends. This in his second production with TRG.
Edward Lawrence Burkley IV (George)
Michelle Burnett (Momma) caught the acting bug about five years ago and has been nonstop ever since. She has been in numerous productions around San Antonio to include “The Wiz”, “Mrs. Warren’s Profession”, and “Hairspray”. She was the recipient of the 2010 ATAC Aw ard for Lead Actress in a musical for her performance in “Dinah Was”. Michelle is grateful to God for finding so much joy in the theater. She also wants to thank her family for their patience and her church for their prayers.
Andrew Jerome Jeter (George/US-Set Designer)
Clifford Ross (Bobo) hails from Los Angeles, CA. He moved to San Antonio in 2000 and has been volunteering with TRG since 2003. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2005 and decided to stay in San Antonio. He has performed in Miss Evers’ Boys, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Fabulation or the Re-Education of Undine, numerous ActOne series and also directed “Off the Wagon” another ActOne series short play.
Stephen Weser (Karl Lindner) was last seen on stage with TRG in the production of Rumours and before that in Blessed Assurance. Stephen thanks The Renaissance Guild for this opportunity. He has acted in other productions in San Antonio most recently in the Rose Theatre production of “A Death of a Salesman” as Uncle Ben. He dedicates his performances to the loving memory of his mother Deborah Weser who brought him to the Carver so many years ago and encouraged his interest in the arts.
La Sandra Dolberry (Mrs. Johnson) is the Founder/Director of Reflections Christian Drama Theatre (San Diego), and Harambee Creative Dance & Arts. Her focus is the synergy of Worship and The Arts. Two of her productions are “From Hedges to Highways” and “Excess Baggage.” Her Texas dance troupes have worked with Morgan-Scott Dance Company (New York), Amazing Grace Liturgical Dancers (Atlanta), and locally, the Carver Fiesta Praise Dance Celebration, among others. Lasandra attends The Center of Worship Christian Center. Worship is her passion!
A Raisin in The Sun Crew Bios
Bill Lewis (Director) Bill grew up in Ohio and graduated from Fisk University. Raisin in the Sun takes place in Chicago where he spent several years in radio, television, theater and graduate school. He has spent four decades working and teaching in theater. Bill lives in San Antonio with his wife, Beverly, to whom he is grateful for her faith, unconditional love and support which has allowed him to play again in the briar patch.
Karen McPeters (Stage Manager) started her acting career at Kingwood College in Kingwood Texas. Her acting skills landed her several fine arts Scholarships. She made her debut with TRG in Black Nativity and later assisted as Prop Manager with “Steel Magnolia”. She is looking forward to her next role as Writer/Director.
Tremayne Moraldo (Assistant Stage Manager) made his first debut performance with TRG as Shepherd boy #2 and ensemble in the Black Nativity 2012. He began acting with certificates of recognition and award for participation in One Act Play Festival presented by corporate Landing Middle school, VA in 2010. He is a graduate of AMTC 2012. He studies Theatre Arts 1 at Judson High School and is currently a major asset to SOLD Out Teen Ministry at Center of Worship.

Shelley Daugherty (Assistant to Director) she began acting in high school and studied the art in college. She has been a part of the Renaissance Guild for two years as an Usher and helper under the awesome Paul Riddle Jr., now she is under the tutelage of Ms. Danielle King as her assistant. She gives God ALL the Glory in her life.
