In “The Eastwood Project: A Blues Continuum” come join us for the third installment of the critically acclaimed Eastwood series. We welcome you to our memories as we dive deep into the history of Black popular music and the role San Antonio played in it. The Eastwood Project: A Blues Continuum” is a musical journey through decades of music that brings both the Divas and Men of Eastwood together for a POWERFUL soul stirring performance. This show will have you on the dance floor and singing in your seat! Come celebrate places, events and artists that created this body of Black popular music and THIS community who nurtured the music and the artists.

All roles will receive a stipend

Prepare a 1 to 2-minute monologue (dramatic speech from a play, poem, formal speech…e.g. MLK’s “I Have A Dream,” Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, etc.)

Prepare a song from the list below, come prepared to sing in the style of the song you have picked (soul, blues, pop, etc.).
Please come prepared to sing a song from the list below, a cappella or with a CD TRACK (please, no iPODs)
